Edit (Fiammy): informazioni su Cosmopolis così come riferite da Telefilm Canada, partner del progetto Cosmopolis con Alfama Film

Telefilm Canada, che è presente con diversi progetti da promozionare e vendere attraverso il Festival di Berlino di quest’anno afferma che Cosmopolis è stato già venduto in più di 25 paesi, compresa l’Italia (01 distribution-Rai Cinema). Questo poster, che è quello portato a Berlino per la promozione della stessa Telefilm Canad insieme con immagini del film Cosmopolis stesso, quindi una parte della promozione di questo film inizia proprio con la Berlinale porta una release date , una data di uscita ( 18 maggio 2012) che potrebbe indicare una possibile intenzione di portare il film al Festival di Cannes (che si svolge in quei giorni)

Sales for films still in production are also encouraging. To date, Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children is presold in over 40 countries and counting, and David Cronenberg’s eagerly awaited Cosmopolis is presold in over 25 countries, including Italy and Portugal, and will travel the world.
Canadian producers are riding a surge of industry buzz and critical kudos at the European Film Market with hopes that a slate of pics from seasoned Canuck helmers and newcomers will keep the momentum going in 2012.

At the forefront is Telefilm Canada, which brings its sixth edition of Perspective Canada to the mart. The federally operated film funder will showcase a selection of features for the market, including David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis” and Sarah Polley’s “Take This Waltz.”

“We’re in a very positive wave of cinema right now with the successes we’ve had internationally,” said Sheila de la Varende, director of industry promotion at Telefilm. “That creates recognition and anticipation in the marketplace for Canadian films.”

Over the past year, Canuck-funded productions, such as “Incendies” and “Monsieur Lazhar,” have been a hit on the festival circuit and with international orgs like the U.S. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences — both films had been nommed for the foreign-language film Oscar.

Telefilm hopes that will bode well for interest in other pics, and has beefed up this year’s slate at Berlin. Perspective Canada will showcase nearly double the number of titles it has unspooled in recent years — 19 in total — which makes 2012 its biggest lineup yet.

    Bellissimo!!! E benissimo!!! Pattinson e Cronenberg allo stesso livello, e non solo, il nome di Rob addirittura prima. Sono strafelice per il nostro ragazzo.
    Questo film portera’ Rob su un altro livello, ne sono sicura.

    Fantastico! il nome a caratteri cubitali prima di quello di Cronemberg….
    la novella l’ho divorata, quasi quasi potrei pensare di farmi un viaggetto a Cannes a maggio! il mese delle rose, se son rose fioriranno!
