Highlights of Bill Condon’s commentary from Breaking Dawn I dvd/blu ray/Anticipazioni dal commento audio di Bill Condon nel dvd di Breaking Dawn I

Emergono, a 13 giorni dall’uscita del dvd in America (da noi in Italia uscirà il 1 marzo) le prime anticipazioni su quello che il regista Bill Condon racconta nel corso del suo commento audio al film  (presente in tutte le versioni) Ecco le principali curiosità:
* La voce che si sente cantare mentre Edward e Bella  vanno da Forks a Rio è quella della sorella di Robert Pattinson (Lizzy)
* non esiste una vera e propria scena di sesso più esplicita rispetto a quella inserita nel film definitivo, perchè volevamo solo “dare l’impressione” che stessero facendo sesso. Quella originale comporta solo qualche “movimento in più” che veniva comunque sfumato nell’inquadratura, ma non è più esplicita, (come  le fans sognavano..) . in ogni caso durante le riprese i due scherzavano e si supportavano molto a vicenda e questo è stato molto positivo per loro che dovevano riprenderli.
*Condon dice anche che la reazione di Rob alla “visione ” di Kristen in lingerie nera è completamente spontanea (e che il regista ha “amato particolarmente” questa scena e la sua espressione)
*Il tema musicale che apre il film è una anticipazione su quello che sarà in Breaking Dawn II il tema musicale di Renesmeè
* il regista ha girato una scena in cui i due pensano a come  potrebbe essere il sesso tra loro facendo o non facendo male a Bella o alle cose intorno a loro e a come sarebbe “rimanere più a lungo umana” (come da libro) ma che pur essendo venuta bene non era possibile inserirla nel ritmo del film.
*originariamente nella scena della telefonata di Rio apparivano sia Ashley che Peter al telefono
* problemi per fare entrare in America l’attrice che interpretava Kaure, risolti con intervento diplomatico molto alto
*Kristen non ha avuto bisogno di una protesi per fare sembrare che la pancia fosse cresciuta nella scena dello specchio
*Bill vede bene Pattinson anche come sceneggiatore/soggettista/autore
*la scena della ciotola tra Rosalie e Jacob è stata girata ed è comica, ma non era adatta al tono definitivo del film
* Bill sostiene che Rob è particolarmente dolce (osservare la scena in cui finge di sentire la figlia dal ventre della madre) e cambia modo di comportarsi rispetto al solito di fronte ai bambini. Questo si vedrà molto nel secondo film.
* Bill è molto soddisfatto della prestazione di Rob e Taylor durante/dopo il parto, entrambi hanno lungamente parlato e lavorato su come sarebbe perdere Kristen per prepararsi alla scena.
* Kristen è “un’ottima cuoca” e il primo montaggio del film è stato mostrato da Bill a Kristen e Rob a cena con Kristen da Kristen che ha cucinato per loro

1st thing Bill says is he hopes the cut scene of the Volturi from the beginning “will make it to a longer cut years down the line” YEARS?!
Bill: “Kristen…I don’t know if everyone knows this…she’s the ultimate Twi-hard.”
Bill Condon is pretty much fangirling over Kristen during this entire commentary…
re: last week of shooting & filming Jacob/Bella dance “These 3 actors knew this was the last time they would be playing these parts ever, and they were very aware of it and Kristen’s not overtly sentimental but I think there were a lot of tears on all sides”
Bill Condon: “I could spend this entire commentary gushing about these actors & I’ll try not to”
Did we know that Lizzy Pattinson “sings” in the music as B/E drive away from Forks for their honeymoon? I don’t think I did.
“Kristen…she’s growing up so fast…I think she looks especially beautiful in this chunk of the movie.” (honeymoon)

Re: honeymoon sex “I think people know there was an earlier more explicit version of this..it wasn’t that much different but there was more a sense probably that they were having sex”
That thrust that he did just as we fade out…we had a little more of that, so we sort of pulled back on that”
“They were great sports about it & obviously very comfortable w/ each other..I can’t imagine this without their comfort level w/ each other”
Re: Rob and Bella black lingerie “His reaction was just completely him responding in the moment…I love it, its just great to see him smile”

Theme that opens the movie is a snippet of Renesmee’s Lullaby, and they also use a bit of it on the beach when Jacob talks about imprinting.
They shot the scene from the book of Bella and Edward acknowledging that they’ve figured out a way to have sex without destroying the house or injuring Bella and Bella tossing around the idea of staying human a little longer. Bill really liked it but felt it didn’t go anywhere dramatically. I swear we better get deleted scenes down the road. Still can’t believe there are none on this dvd. Ridic.
Bill can see Kristen as a director, Rob as a writer & Taylor as a producer and studio head.

re: Bella examining her tummy in the mirror “We debated if Kristen needed a little appliance, but she just stuck her belly out a little bit”
They also originally shot Peter and Ashley on the phone with Bella but decided they didn’t want to make the cut away from Bella to show them.

It was apparently almost impossible to get a visa for the Brazilian actress playing Kaure so she could go to Baton Rouge to finish her scenes, and it took “someone calling someone who knew someone in the Obama White House and really getting some strings pulled”
Bill talking about Kristen cooking for him in Baton Rouge (“a great cook…an amazing cook”)
They cut the Jacob throwing the dog bowl at Rosalie scene because it didn’t feel right to have comic relief at that moment.

re: Edward hearing the baby scene and Rob/babies “You look at Rob here, you get a little hint of what you’ll see a lot of in the 2nd film. He is unbelievably tender with babies…with children…not just babies…he was with Mackenzie too. There’s something that changes about him when he’s with children. He’s just so sweet and caring and I think you really get a little glimpse of that here.”

Shooting the birth scene is one of the most memorable nights Bill has ever had on a movie set.

re: birth/trying to revive Bella – “You have this intensity from Rob and Taylor…because Kristen made it so real, they’re imagining what it would be like to lose Kristen…both of them talked about that.”

@materialgirl76: listening 2 commentary bill says”Kris is a great cook she had me over for dinner in BR&I showed her&rob 1st cut of movie, he then says he showed footage to Taylor on another occasion.

    Adoro venire a sapere tutti questi piccoli particolari della lavorazione del film, come ad esempio, la reazione di Rob davanti a Kris in lingerie (e che ti vuoi recitare!), oppure il suo atteggiamento con i bambini (tenero lui!). Certo, mi sarebbe piaciuto anche il commento dei due protagonisti, ma a quanto pare, ci dobbiamo accontentare di quello del regista.
    Anche se, tanti particolari di se stesso, Rob non li avrebbe detti, per modestia forse, e perche’ la butta sempre a ridere.
    Comunque, non vedo l’ora, di avere il DVD fra le mani.

    Amo molto Bill , la sua sensibilità ed il gran lavoro che ha svolto .
    Credo che non ci farà rimpiangere la presenza dei due protagonisti ( …anche se , si capisce , il loro commento sarebbe stato l’Optimum . )

    …caspita se è dolce questo ragazzo, caspita se si vede che cambia davanti a un bambino (basta guardare i piccoli assaggi del behind the scene di qualche giorno fa) e caspita anche noi siamo certe che sarà un ottimo sceneggiatore/soggettista/autore….
    molto bello sapere tutte queste cose…tuttosommato anche che la sua espressione davanti alla lingerie nera non era recitata….mi ha fatto morire guardandolo al cinema!
