Interview from Vanity Fair . Issue 28 July 20 (ita) to Sara Gruen. Listen her taking about Rob Pattinson

Several humans in his book are not as smart or funny. In particular,she is highly critical of celebrity and the entertainment world. It is not that the contacts he had with the studios for the realization of how the water for the elephants have provided the inspiration in some way?

SG: Fortunately, the Hollywood that I knew him is very different from what I describe in books. More than anything I was referring to people like Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton, and the protagonists of reality. Instead Christoph and Reese (Waltz and Witherspoon ed) toutside of work think especially to their families and Robert (Pattinson) I found him pleasant, open-minded ”

As well as he is overwhelmed by the attentions of his fans

SG: True. I was on set two days in the desert, 40 minutes from Los Angeles. It was summer, very hot and there was no way to find shelter in the shade. His fans arrived at 4 am, and even if the security held them off the set,  They  remained  there until 10 pm. Hoping to see him only for a few minutes and from afar.
What did you think when you heard that he would be the protagonist (of WFE)?

SG: I have never seen the Twilight saga, so I did not knew exactly what to expect. I realized how hard he worked and how it was concentrated on the character. Not even my children, being male, were particularly impressed by him, instead, their girlfriends really were. I have ??four copies of  my book autographed by him, but I will not give it to them until they are big enough not to give them to the first girl who requests them

Parecchi esseri umani nel suo libro non sono altrettanto intelligenti o simpatici. In particolare lei è molto critica nei confronti delle celebrity e del mondo dello spettacolo. Non è che i contatti che ha avuto con gli Studios per la realizzazione di come l’acqua per gli elefanti le hanno fornito in qualche modo l’ispirazione?

SG: Per fortuna la hollywood che ho conosciuto io è molto diversa da quella che descrivo. Più che altro mi riferivo a personaggi come Kim Kardashian o Paris Hilton, e ai protagonisti dei reality. Christoph e Reese (Waltz e Whiterspoon ndr) al di fuori del lavoro pensano soprattutto alle loro famiglie e Robert (Pattinson) l’ho trovato piacevole , aperto di mente”
Nonchè sopraffatto dalle attenzioni delle sue fans

SG:Vero. Sono stata due giorni sul set, nel deserto, a 40 minuti da Los Angeles. Era estate, faceva molto caldo e non c’era modo di trovare riparo all’ombra. Le sue fans arrivavano alle 4 del mattino, e anche se la security le teneva lontano dal set, restavano finbo alle 10 di sera. Solo per tentare di vederlo pochi minuti e da lontano.
Che cosa hai pensato quando hai saputo che sarebbe stato lui il protagonista?

SG: Non ho mai visto la saga di Twilight, quindi non sapevo esattamente cosa aspettarmi. Mi sono resa conto di quanto lavorasse duro e di come fosse concentrato sulla parte. Neppure i miei figli, essendo maschi, erano particolarmente impressionati, le loro fidanzate però si. Mi sono fatta autografare quattro copie del romanzo da lui , ma non intendo dargliele fino a quando non saranno abbastanza grandi da non cederle alla prima ragazza che glielo chiede

    che mamma attenta e accorta! oppure donna affascinata da cotanta bellezza fisica e celebrale da tenere per sè gli autografi? ma! credo più la seconda ipotesi!
